The Four Questions
Mah Nishtanah
(What is Different?) In most families, the youngest child (and if no child is available, the youngest participant) at the Passover Seder table recites or sings "Ma Nishtana" the Four Questions that inquire why is this night different from all other nights of the year. Some families encourage all their children to recite the "Ma Nishtana" each in their turn, but many just follow the youngest participant performance by a group recitation (singing) of the following:
